Fire applet |
|
This applet visualises realistic flame
burning from the bottom to the top of the applet area.
[For more technical
information about the available parameters, click
here.]
Most parameters are self-explanatory
and you can always see brief description of each parameter
by moving the mouse pointer over the
wizard.
|
|
First of all, define the applet
size and its XY resolutions "Width",
"Height", "X Res"
and "Y Res".
|
Resolution works as a stretcher
value for the internally calculated image. If
you want high quality result, always set this
to one.
Then you decide if text scroll
function is required for your final effect by
checking "Enable textscroll"
box.
|
|
Now you configure flame
animation. "Fire cut Start"
parameter decides where fire starts diminishing
and its "Value" controls
the speed of the process. You can then select
the shape of fire, which can be either rectangle
or curve (convex).
"Def. light"
stands for the initial fire power, which
determines the whole flame eventually.
|
|
Basically, fire is randomly generated
to look natural, but you can control how smoothly
fire burns up by "Repeat" parameter.
A higher value for this results in smoother effect.
Finally, to change fire colour,
you need to set each of the RGB channels. Each
channel takes a value between 0 (none) and 8 (full).

|
|
We have only discussed about the fire
specific parameters. For generic parameters, please
read wizard section.
Proceed to the
textscroll menu if you have checked the textscroll
box; otherwise go to the expert
menu.
