Anfy Water - Copyright (C) by Fabio Ciucci 1997-99 This applet can simulate water wavings over any GIF or JPG image. This applet is fully parametrized, so you can generate many variations of water wavings. The animation fish.gif is a courtesy of Paolo Sioli / Digibit. ************************************************************************* As well as the image to deform, and an optional foreground image, the following 3 ".class" files must be uploaded: AnWater.class Lware.class anfy class Plus, AnWater.jar for speedy loading on recent browsers. ************************************************************************* EXAMPLE. Insert the tag in your html document as follows to add this applet to your page (Comments after the ";" symbol are code explanations and acceptable min/max values. They are not part of the applet language): ; Registration code (if you have it) ; Optional URL link when applet is "clicked". ; Reglink opened in new frame? ; Name of new frame for reglink ; Statusbar message ; Image to load ; resolution (1 .. 8) ; Light effects ("YES" or "NO") ; Lowest light (-255 .. 255) ; Highest light (-255 .. 255) ; Auto design ("YES" or "NO") ; Density of fluid (2 .. 6) ; Number of fishes (0 .. 2) ; Cross effect ("YES" or "NO") ; Factor of cross effect ; Size of circular rain (0 = OFF) ; Circular rain factor ; Size of square rain (0 = OFF) ; Square rain factor ; Fixed drops ("YES" or "NO") ; X coord of fixed drops ; Y coord of fixed drops ; Size of fixed drops ; Factor of fixed drops ; Rain pressure (1 .. 2000) ; Fluidity ("water" or "oil") ; Interaction ("ON" .. "OFF") ; Optional image over applet ; Over image X offset ; Over image Y offset ; Memory deallocation delay ; Task priority (1..10) ; Min. milliseconds/frame for sync Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java. ; Message for no java browsers. ; End of applet tag **************************************************************************** INSTRUCTIONS. The following instructions describe how to change parameters: The images (GIF and/or JPG) can be of any size, but all image dimensions must be identical. Attempting to change the "credits" parameter will disable the applet. To activate the reg parameters, please read the shareware registration notes. In the "regcode" parameter, place the registration code you purchased from the author. If the code is correct and the applet is run from the registered domain name, you can use "link" parameters to link to a URL when the applet is mouse-clicked. If you set "regnewframe" to "YES", you can specify a specific frame location for the reglink: "_blank" : To load the link in a new blank unnamed browser window. "_self" : To load the link into the same window the applet occupies. "_parent" : To load the link into the immediate FRAMESET parent. "_top" : To load the link into the top body of the window. You can also set a custom frame name, such as "myframe1". With the "overimg" parameter you can specify the name of an image that will be painted over the applet. The best options are transparent GIF images. NOTE: Animated GIF images are supported, but will be animated only on latest browsers (Netscape 4 and Explorer 4 or newer). With "overimgX" and "overimgY" you can center the image over the applet area. The GIF/JPG image can be of any size. If res=1, remember to place the exact size of the image in "width" and "height" tags. If res=2, place doubled values, if res=3 tripled values etc. (In fact, res is a sort of zoomer). You can enable or disable the light shade calculation with "light" parameter. The effect without light calculations is faster, but less realistic. When light is enabled setting it to "YES", you can even choose the light and shadow intensity, with "minlight" and "maxlight" parameters, which accept values randing from -255 to 255. If you set the "autodesign" parameter to "YES", an automatic slideshow of the effects will be executed, and the next parameters are ignored; whereas with "NO", you have to configure the effects manually: [Manual configuration] The "density" parameter (2 .. 6) controls the density of fluid. Lower values mean more fluid liquid, so waves end quickly. Higher values cause a slower decadence of the waves. You can insert up to 2 fishes, with "fishnum" parameter. Other effects are: cross, rain and srain. Set the parameter "cross" to YES to activate this strange effect. The "crossfactor" parameter works as a "timer" between one cross and another. By setting "crossfactor" to 0, a new cross will appear every frame. Higher values mean more pause between one cross and another. The "rainsize" determines a circular rain. If it is set to zero= no rain. Values higher or equal to 1 will generate rain. To control it use "rainfactor" as seen for "crossfactor". The "srainsize" and "srainfactor" parameters work the same as "rainsize" and "rainfactor", but generate square rain. You can enable more than one effect at the same time. Another option is to enable the "fixdrop" parameter setting it to "YES", it will generate drops only at the fixed X and Y positions specified with the "fixdropX" and "fixdropY" parameters. The size and the frequency of these drops are determined by the parameters named "fixdropS" and "fixdropF". You can control the rain drops strength with the "pressure" parameter, with values from 1 to 2000. You can then control the degree of fluidity of the surface: setting the "fluidmode" parameter to "water" will enable the water mode, otherwise set it to "oil" for a more intense liquid. Setting the "interactive" parameter to "YES", will enable mouse pointer to generate waves when it's moved over the applet area.
